Meet the Doctors
Dr. Tessa Harlow was born and raised just outside of Toledo, OH. She attended Marietta College in Marietta, OH. There she was a four year starter and two year captain for the women’s soccer team. She graduated with a degree in Sports Medicine, which allowed her to work alongside the athletic trainers for multiple men’s and women’s varsity sports at the college. She later attended Life University in Atlanta, GA for her Doctor of Chiropractic degree.
Right after graduation she started as an Associate for a high volume family practice located in Shelby, NC. After just under a year she decided to break off on her own and open in Marion, NC.

Originally from Morganton, North Carolina, Dr. Emily is proud to bring her passion for chiropractic care home to the McDowell County community. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Biology, with a minor in Chemistry, from Gardner-Webb University, where her interest in health and whole-body wellness first took shape. Dr. Emily went on to receive her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Sherman College of Chiropractic, where she developed a strong foundation in patient-centered, evidence-based care. She is dedicated to helping individuals and families achieve better health through natural, chiropractic solutions and is excited to serve and support the community she now calls home.
